After two false starts we finally got out of Athens around 5:30 yesterday evening. We made it to Terre haute Indiana. Today we cross Illinois and the big states of Missouri and Kansas. We might make it to Colorado today, but that would be an extremely long day.
I keep looking at those two backpacks and thinking "That's all we are taking for a six month trip?" Then I look at my pack base weight and think "What can we get rid of"
